Mar's essay!

Should students be punished for not attending school?


I think students usually goes to class because they want.

The assistance, is really important for you because you can show your interests about the subject. The pupil who decides don’t go to class has a big problem because at last is the student who lose. It’s obvious that is not a teachers problem but for all of them it means that classes could be more interesting, I believe that sometimes students decides to don’t go classes because some subjects are really boring. I’ve been thinking about it and I have thought that is almost impossible to finish.
With this problem, because there are any effective method to punish the assistance, under my point of view if pupils wouldn’t like to go to the school they’ll be at home, because at home we are very well.

I think that Mar has reason and that there are many students who remain in his houses because they are better than in the institute. We have to remember that Mar is the ancient of the class and because of she has a lot of experience in these topics.

Mar, thank you for your essay.
Some things to bear in mind...
- Assistance means help in English... The word you want to use is "attendance".
- Subject and verb agreement: if "students" is plural, your verb must be plural too! (Can you find 2 mistakes in your text?)
- I don't understand what you mean when you say I’ve been thinking about it and I have thought that is almost impossible to finish.

- It's Ok because you give your opinion, but in a for and agaisnst essay you should give both points of view... In fact, you talk more about the reason of students not going to class than wether they should be punished or not! ;-)
- Remember that the negative of an infinitive is made by adding NOT, not don't (eg. ...decide to dont' go ... --> decide NOT TO go)

Anyway it was a good attempt! :-)
